Robert M. Lawrence is the President of the Lenfest Media Group, overseeing the diversified operating interests of Lenfest Media Group.

Mr. Lawrence is the former COO of Suburban Cable TV, the 10 th largest multiple cable system operator in the United States, serving over 1.25 million subscribers in the Philadelphia area. Following the sale of Suburban Cable TV to Comcast in 2000, Mr. Lawrence established an independent consulting practice focused on Telecommunications.

In 2003, following the completion of a consulting project for the digital upgrade of the Lenfest broadcast station, Mr. Lawrence rejoined Lenfest as COO for the StarNet operating division of Lenfest Enterprises. The StarNet operating divisions, including CAM Systems, and MediaDVX were sold in 2005 for $30M.

Mr. Lawrence is on the Board of Directors for TelVue Corporation and a former member of the Pennsylvania Cable Telecommunications Association.

Mr. Lawrence grew up in Pottstown, Pennsylvania and graduated from Pottstown High School before attending Penn State University. He and his wife, Sandra, live in Downingtown Pennsylvania.
